People within Organizations, often do not “speak”; they talk about superficial issues without dealing with the heart of the matter.
In this way the real issues are not faced; everybody knows about them, how meaningful and true they are … but nobody actually”talks”.
The result is a combination of misunderstandings, resentment, unexpressed opinions, that do not allow to deal with issues within an healthy framework. Motivation, energy, enthusiasm decrease and deteriorate. Frustration is likely to increase and lead to people to interactions dominated and polluted by harmful negative emotions.
Natually, bringing “undiscussable” issues into the open requires caution, respect, and particularly, skillsspecific approaches. and

When unproductive conflict is undermining activities and relationships, we may consider mediation and we would work toward the construction of competencies related to the experience of conflict and its mediation.
